BC CHILD SUPPORT RULING SETS PRECEDENT

Mark Slay recently appeared before the BC Court Appeal in the case of Harras v Lhotka. The case involved a calculation of income for the purpose of determining the child support payable.

The appeal brought on behalf of Mark’s client was allowed and , in the end the child support was reduced. The Lawyer’s Weekly, a national publication , interviewed Mark on this precedent setting case. A copy of the article from the magazine can be found here.
