Bahareh joined North Shore Law LLP as an articling student in May 2012, and was called to the Bar in British Columbia on November 1, 2012. Her preferred areas of practice are criminal law, family law, and civil litigation. Bahareh was born in Iran and moved to Canada in 1991. She has spent most of her childhood on the North Shore. In her spare time, Bahareh enjoys dancing, travelling, and outdoor activities.
Bahareh received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from SFU. She then moved to the Gold Coast of Australia where she completed her Juris Doctor degree at Bond University in 2011. She received a certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in July 2011 as she decided that she wanted to move back to her hometown of Vancouver.
Bahareh is an active member of the Law Society of BC, the Canadian Bar Association, the Iranian Canadian Lawyers’ Association, and the Young Lawyers’ Association. She is also a member of the Board of Directors at the North Shore Multicultural Society.
