We are seeking an experienced corporate paralegal to support a busy solicitor’s practice within a collaborative and professional team environment.

About the Role

North Shore Law LLP is currently seeking a corporate paralegal with 5–8 years of experience. The successful candidate will work closely with a partner, associate, senior paralegal, and legal administrative assistant on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in M&A transactions and managing electronic minute books independently.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate & Transactional Work

  • Prepare and file documents with BC Registry Services and Corporations Canada
  • Manage corporate records and minute books
  • Handle incorporations, reorganizations, and corporate changes
  • Draft and process share transactions, dividends, and ownership changes
  • Conduct minute book reviews and corporate maintenance

M&A and Due Diligence

  • Conduct due diligence searches (corporate, PPSA, court, land title)
  • Assist with transactional closings and ancillary documentation
  • Manage bring-forward systems and transaction timelines
  • Draft correspondence and reporting documentation

Administrative & Team Support

  • Draft routine legal documents and correspondence
  • Support ongoing corporate transactions and client files
  • Perform general administrative tasks as required

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate of a recognized paralegal program
  • 5–8 years of experience in corporate law
  • Experience with ALF (or similar legal software)
  • Strong experience with corporate transactions and minute book management

Skills & Attributes

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively

Compensation & Work Environment

The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 – $90,000, depending on experience.
