Biography

Miles Caine is a litigation lawyer practising in personal injury litigation and insurance defence litigation. Miles also is able to assist clients with all types of immigration issues including permanent and temporary applications to Canada, admissibility issues, and family sponsorship applications and permanent resident applications.

His immigration knowledge similarly allows him to advise business clients with navigating consistently developing immigration policy and immigration law.

Before joining North Shore Law, Miles worked for a boutique litigation firm assisting clients with issues ranging from criminal matters to disputed real estate and business transactions.  He is committed to providing practical and cost-effective solutions to his clients in a timely manner and strives to provide clients with advice that is right for their circumstances.

Miles obtained his law degree from the University of Saskatchewan where he graduated with distinction and received the Clifford Reed Scholarship in Law for Academic Achievement. During his studies, Miles volunteered with a non-profit providing assistance to new immigrants and refugees in becoming permanent residents and citizens.

Miles’ interests outside of law include keeping active by chasing his two young sons across the trails of the North Shore.
