Biography
Courtney Morrison assists clients in the areas of insurance defence, personal injury, and general civil litigation.
A knowledgeable and experienced civil litigation lawyer, Courtney frequently appears on behalf of clients at the BC Supreme Court. She is well-equipped to deal with all stages of a file from the first demand letter up to and including trial. Courtney is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals, whether through negotiation, mediation, or trial.
Courtney assists clients in the following areas of law: personal injury, insurance, strata, construction, and general civil litigation. In these areas Courtney guides clients prior to, during, and after an action has been commenced. She understands that the court process can be daunting and she expertly eases her clients through the difficult process.
Within strata law Courtney will help owners, strata corporations or tenants navigate the civil resolution tribunal or the BC Supreme Court. With construction, insurance and general civil litigation issues, including contract disputes, Courtney guides clients prior to, during, or after an action has been commenced and she works with both general contractors and homeowners. She strives to ensure claims run smoothly and hassle-free for her clients and makes sure their voices are heard.
Courtney earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of British Columbia and her law degree at the University of Victoria.
Born and raised in North Vancouver, in her spare time Courtney enjoys skiing on North Shore mountains, hiking, and writing.
