Patricia Bond

Patricia M. Bond has been practising mainly in the area of family law since her call to the bar in 1988. Her practice has also included insurance, municipal defence and personal injury cases.

Patricia is a member of the Ethics Committee of the Law Society of British Columbia. She is a former director of the Association of Legal Aid Lawyers and has participated in committee work for both the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association. She has recently been appointed to the executive committee of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC as a Member at Large. She is active in the Vancouver and North Vancouver Collaborative Law Groups, and is a member of the Family Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association. She has been a contributing author to the Annotated Guidelines and Family Practise, the Family Law Agreements Manual and now sits on the editorial board of the British Columbia Family Practise Manual, all of which are publications of the Continuing Legal Education Society. She has been a speaker for Continuing Legal Education courses, and guest instructor for the Professional Legal Training Course, People's Law School, the Canadian Labour Congress and the University of British Columbia Law School.

Patricia has devoted considerable volunteer time to supporting the provision of Legal Aid in British Columbia through various committees, projects and clinics. She has been recognized for her dedication to providing outstanding quality of service to the Legal Services Society and its clients. In addition, she has been a member of non profit society boards in the arts and mental health fields.
