Vanessa Marshall
joined the firm as an associate lawyer in July 2007, practising
primarily in the areas of civil litigation. She
obtained a Certificate of Liberal Arts from Simon Fraser University
in 2002, where she studied Criminology and Psychology. Vanessa
attended law school at the University of British Columbia and Queen’s
University, from which she obtained her Bachelor of Laws in 2005.
After extensive articles in both criminal and civil law, Vanessa
was called to the Bar in early 2007.
Vanessa has appeared before various tribunals, in Provincial and
Supreme Court, as well as before the British Columbia Court of Appeal.
Vanessa is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Trial Lawyers
Association of British Columbia, Canadian Defence Lawyers and Amnesty
International. Vanessa is also an avid supporter of the Arts in British
Columbia.
