Patricia Bond

Patricia Bond

Patricia Bond is a partner with North Shore Law LLP.  Ms. Bond has been practicing primarily family law for more than 20 years. She is a seasoned litigator, a collaborative lawyer, mediator and parenting coordinator. The latter role utilizes mediation as well as arbitration to resolve disputes in high conflict family cases.

Ms. Bond is an elected  Bencher of the Law Society, co-chair of the Ethics committee, and a member of the Family Law Task Force. She is a Governor of the Trial Lawyers Association of B.C. (TLABC) and a founding member of the Board of Directors of the BC Parenting Coordinators Society. In addition, Ms. Bond has been a contributing author to various Family Law Manuals and was appointed to the editorial board of the British Columbia Family Practice Manual for many years,  She is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association and has chaired and presented at courses for Continuing Legal Education, TLABC, the B.C. Parenting Coordination Society, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and  has guest instructed for the Professional Legal Training Course, People's Law School, the Canadian Labour Congress and the University of British Columbia Law School.

Ms. Bond has published in journals, including the Advocate, the Verdict and Advisor's Edge.  Patricia has devoted considerable volunteer time to supporting the provision of Legal Aid in British Columbia through various committees, projects and clinics. She has been recognized by the Legal Services Society and  the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia for her volunteer activities and for providing outstanding quality of service to clients. In addition, she has been a member of non-profit society boards in the arts and mental health fields.
